December, it came...it saw...it conquered

Seriously, where did December go? I mean I guess with a robbery, Christmas parties, a cruise and Christmas...oh yep there it was. First things first, I saw this man at the airport when I picked up Natalie and I can't stop laughing about it. He was coming down the escalator and Nat and I made eye contact and I stayed with the kids while she "sneakily" but very very obviously took this picture (well 3 pictures to be exact). I know, it's too good to be true.Anyways, now that I have got that off my chest I can move on. A quick update on the robbery...well its still all gone. So yes, the lady cop was correct. I guess I am just SOL. So I have been working with the insurance company which has been a joke. Honestly, I know every time I talk to them that they assume I made the whole thing up. I still don't have a check to replace my items...still waiting. But, I did get a kick out of the fact that I finally got home yesterday and went through my mail and I had a letter from Met Life informing me that they were no longer interested in insureing me so as of Dec 28th my coverage is terminated. Well, alright then. Apparently if they actually have to pay out for your policy then it's over. Whatever.

Anyways, on to the fun stuff. On December 14th I went on an 8 day cruise with my family to the Mexican Riviera. Honestly, it could not have come at a better time. We had SO SO SO much fun! I mean who wouldn't love being with your great family, being waited on hand and food, eating delicious food and being in 80-90 degree weather. Where do I sign, I just wish that could be my life...someday...Does anyone know like a 90 year old EXTREMELY wealthy millionaire with bad health? No reason...

Here's some random pictures...but there are WAY more coming your way. I am going to highlight 2 days of our trip because honestly they were too good to be true. So watch for Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta, they get their very own because I have never laughed so hard in my entire life.

Just one with the ladies...

Some of the gents.

My parents belated Prom Picture....so cute!

The way my brother in law walked around Cabo...I feel like it did help us keep some of the whistle kids away from us. However, it didn't keep away the men carrying iguana's with sombrero's on...Most of the crew, as you can see we had quite a range in ages. My Grandpa and his new wife came along for the trip. And yes, you are seeing my dad wearing the "manpri's" again. This will not be the first or the last time any of us see those just to warn you...
My dad watching for pirates...I told him it looks creepy when he always has his binocs out but to each his own I guess. Isn't he cute?

Our last day on the ship...not ready to come home

My Dad showing us how it's done...

And this was us being so so sad that Kristine and Jordan didn't come. We missed you guys!

Alright....check again soon. I promise it will be worth your time. Now start singing....here we are now...entertain us....

Ok, so I have never been on a cruise, but you make it clear that I need to get on that. I'm quite sure it's right up my alley. Still sad about the robbery...those duchebags... ;)

Is that Flava Flav? Ha ha...thank you 100x for that pic. I never thought I'd see a pimp in the SLC airport!

Sorry about your stuff. Go Met Life for being so reliable, neighborly and courteous...what a joke! I believe in karma so maybe someday the d-bags who stole your stuff will fall off a cliff and the Met Life people will step in fresh dog poo with their bare feet. Don't mess with the universe!

p.s. can I come with you on your next trip? Your family looks like they're a riot! Happy New Year!!!

I'm glad to hear you had fun. You deserve it! I didn't know the girls in your family looked so much alike! I had to look closely at each picture to pick you out. I would love to be around all of you together--I'm sure I would not stop laughing!!!

Can I just say how much your mom looks like Madonna? With her long hair, it is like identical twins! I'm sure she loves hearing that. :) Next time you guys go you need to stow me away in your suitcase so I can join in on the laughter. When is Nat leaving to go back to Australia?

Hi Kate! I'm so glad there were some happy moments in December to balance out the wrangling you got to do with your insurance company. (Insurance companies in general can burn in hell in my opinion.) Cruises are totally awesome! Your family seems like a lot of fun to hang with. Happy New Year!

I am so stinkin' jealous! What a fun time. I sorry your still SOL. Don't you hate when lesbian cops are right? I don't know one I cannot trust for accuracy. I am excited to see more pics of the other Mexican Riveria cities. I have only been to CABO and loved it. I am excited to hear more about your trip...

Just sittin here with Gabey catching up on good times. Very funny. Flava Flave was too much, I never would have imagined someone from Alice in Wonderland popping out into the real world.

3 cheers for Gildea Family Cruise 2009!

Good luck with Met life, you're doing your job on the neg PR for them that they deserve.
