The Latest, The Greatest

Sorry, I have been a little behind due to a sinus infection and a very, VERY exciting work trip to glorious Idaho. Oh yes, Burley, Idaho Falls and Pocatello baby! Man, I sure love my job. But, I thought I should update you on the latest and greatest.

I did just get back last week from Portland for work again. It has become a little tradition that my Mom flies to wherever I am and meets up with me once a year to keep me company which is SO fun. We have been to Phoenix, Seattle and this was our second time to Portland. Since we had already done a lot of the "touristy" things in Portland we really just spent the majority of our time shopping, eating, shopping and more eating. If anyone is going to Portland and is looking for a GREAT fish and chips place please let me know....Here we are waiting for the train on one of MANY occasions. I have never thought my Mom and I look very much alike, apparently we do because everyone kept asking if we were sisters which probably should hurt my feelings seeing as how she is in her 50's but she looks good! At this huge outdoor market last year my Mom found these Japanese lamps that are completely made of paper and she wanted them so bad and decided to not to buy them. So instead we got to go back to the market this year and luckily after traipsing around looking for them we found them!My Dad sent my Mom with a sealed bag that we were to open upon arrival to our hotel. He bought us these flannel shirts so we would "fit it in Portland" Once again, great find at TJ Maxx Dad, we loved it...and yes Portland we noticed that you really like to dress for comfort...When asked what face Jules was making she said..."I wanted to look butch..." Well, mission accomplished once more...Thanks for a great trip Mom, I had a blast!

Last weekend I was treated to a very special birthday gift from Nick and Katie Jo....yes my birthday was back in February but what better way to celebrate your 25.75 birthday! No, I am not a Reba fan, no I am not a Kelly fan, did I have a FANTASTIC time yes! It was awesome sitting in between Nick and Katie Jo, it was like surround sound because between the two of them they have seen "Reebs" 12 times. And Nick, I don't care what they say. You sing "Fancy" way better than Reebs...carry on my friend...carry on.

Me and Kelly, yes you are seeing this right we were on the very front row on the side. Prime spot for a DEVOTE fan like myself...Tara was this before or after you teared up with Kelly? Thanks for the best 25.75 birthday, I couldn't have been luckier! I just can't wait to see what you all have in store for 26.75....the skies are the limits...

Hey Kate, I got your message last night. We were at the cabin all weekend. We have a wedding tonight at my mom's for my Uncle. So none of us will make to Hotel Frankenstein, BUMMER! Have fun and want to read all about it. THe pictures of your mom and you are so cute. You mom gets prettier and prettier, she is so dang cute and so are you of course! Your dad sending shirts is just too funny, you both look cute dispite that they are plaid flannel 90's shirts!!

Thanks Katie for the fun times! And dad is always hilarious. Help him find something good to bring to me when he comes home! I don't think I would have made that face if I would have known it was going to be posted on your blog!

Hilarious, all of it, hilarious. That is so Dad! Mom does look 20 years younger with her long hair. Very Nice.

Hope you all are enjoying your mini-FHE to VCP. Wish I could be there!

Couple of things . . .
1. LOVE your mom's hair (pass it on)! She looks amazing!
2. Love your hair pulled back with the no bangs. Very cute with the black bow thing.
3. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
4. Shirts are hilarious and the butch face . . . even better.

And last, I'm loving my Shuffle selections. Lisa was saying how that is all your usual music (rap, hip hop, etc.) Which is totally my mix. So, I guess we need to cruise with our music blasting. Choa!
