Lord Give Me Patience...

So, this morning...well lets be honest I used the term "morning" quite loosely it was more early afternoon, in honor of our Pioneer heritage Lisa and I decided to celebrate poolside. On our way with Jamba's in hand we got caught behind the slowest Comcast van. So of course we missed the light...and naturally we were not happy about this seeing as how it was close to noon and the prime sun hours are from 10-2...we were already behind schedule. The light turned green and the "idiot" in the Comcast van was just sitting there with its blinker on not moving. So that's when I decided to start yelling curse words at the van and Lisa decided to start honking the horn. Luckily right as I was throwing my hand in the air calling the driver an ass hat a sweet little lady in a motorized wheelchair came across the crosswalk. And it was so nice to make eye contact with her at that point. I felt about this big....Lord, please give me more patience.

Oh Katie...I hate it when I get busted like that. I think that has happened to the best of us. Humble pie is always hard to swallow so good for you for choking it down!

And to think, you both come from such good families.:)

I agree with Nicole ... you are going to hell ... likely the elderly woman is also going to hell though ~ obviously her thoughts were 'who is that blind smart ass who can't see beyond herself to the old woman?' ~ you can appoligize there.

When I am behind the wheel I turn into an impatient road rage psycho! I have had to tone it down a bit with my kids sitting in the back learning all sorts of new words to share with their nursery leaders. haha Thanks for making me feel a little bit better about myself. I will return the favor soon I'm sure.

i understand the whole feeling bad thing, but still, mightn't we still ask ourselves, what was the old lady doing crossing when the light was green? oh, just because you're little, and old, and possibly unnattractive, you can now cross whenever you get a whim? please. it takes more than that to humble a road rager such as myself.

2 questions:

1. I woke up this morning in the middle of a memory of taking ballet from you in your basement like 15 yeas ago. Kristine and I were always bad and you put us in the storage room every week. Child abuse? I think so.

2. Are you living in SLC? I'm coming up in fall and looking for a room near the U or in sugarhouse. Do you know anyone trying to sell? Gracias. You make me laugh so hard.

Hey! Mike and I love reading your blog, Mike always asks if you have posted something new, because he always gets a kick out of reading your blog. Looks like you are doing good, I had a dream last night we were room mates again (of course we had a lot of fun), anyways I hope one day we will be able to get together, but for now I'll just enjoy your blog!

Hey! i just found your blog from kristines. I love it! So funny. i found myself laughing out loud a couple times. So anyway visiting home is now different now that most of the cul-de-sac has been taken over by Laurets. I feel like they might as well build a tunnel between the two homes. I hope you are doing fab!

Katie, wow I love ya. Rob and I randomly started reading your blog and were laughing our ass hats off. (By the way Rob is wondering what an ass hat is?) Anyways it was reminding me of the good old days of my Junior year, when you made coming home to Pineview so much fun. You are hilarious!
