Dear HR...my student worker is acting out

Well now that I know you read my BLOG I think it's time to get something straight Tim. For my readers, let me explain. Tim is one of my student workers in my office at USU. I met him last year, to be honest he was one of my favorite recruits from Davis High so I got him a job in the office. I kind of consider him my little brother. We mess around a lot, I felt like we were having fun, I felt like we had a good thing going until he started acting out this week. Now, I am not sure what happened, maybe the emotional abuse has gotten to him. See my strategy with him is "Tim, I have to tear you down to build you back up." So I don't know if me calling him my bitch one too many times, me making him make too many copies, me having him parade around campus wearing a train conductor hat that says Kate's Birthday Crew on it, me insisting that in order to keep his job he did a bellyflop in the pool...twice (if he had done it right the first time, it we would only have needed one), me making him run errands for me because I don't want to do them myself....I mean really it could be anything. Really, whos to tell. But like I said, he is acting out...acting out hard.

He walked into my office yesterday and here's the conversation:

Tim:Kate you know how you remind me of?
Kate: Well Tim I don't know, who?
Tim:Kathy Griffin...in a good way.
Like I said, I don't know what brought out this hostility out in you. What you have said to me is, "Kate I think you are a really unfunny, super annoying and quite unattractive human." Now, I am not sure if this was intentional or not....but how would you like to be compared to this guy? Think about it Tim...

I suggest you put that Train Conductor Hat right back on, with a big IM SORRY and come back to work on Monday....with a better attitude....

**Bran could I get a rating here?

That is hilarious. Yeah, I don't think there is a "good" way to be compared to Kathy Griffin. Ew.

Wish I knew Tim. This is HILARIOUS, but seems like I could really only understand if I knew the kid. He sounds like a pretty good sport!

Yes she is Melanie. Sorry Kate. You don't remind me of Kathy. Maybe a different Cathie, but not this one. He he... JUST KIDDING.

gildea you have a gift. i've said it before and i'll say it again. you are the funniest post-writer out there. bless you. especially the part about your "homosexual friend" and his mom-- i just wish i could figure out who that is... bless her little heart. oh, and kathy?? really? your little student worker has another thing coming if he thinks he can casually get away with that kind of shizzit.

HAHAHAHAHA this makes me feel alot better after my boss telling me i am Rachel Ray. HAHAHA Kathy Griffin though? Hahaha that is so so funny i cant stop laughing.

And yes i think this is funny, do i think its even remotely true? Of course not. But she is funny when she talks about Clay Aiken and Oprah.

You forget that at one time Kathy Griffin was kind of cute. Then she dicovered Stacy and Clinton and the rest of satans spawn on the TLC fashion and beauty show, and no one told her those shows were a joke. She started cosmetic surgery and massive makeup as they suggest, and see how much better things got?

Please block TLC from your TV before it is to late. I think he was comparing you to Kathy in her early days.

You are a complete stranger, but Tim is not. and this is the absolute truest to his form moment that anyone has ever written down. it is sublimely perfect and generations down the line of his heritage will look to this as an embodiment of just how Ridiculous their great great uncle Timothy was.

You don't know me, but I know and love Tim Barber. Thank you for bringing a smile to my face by describing to the world his doings and sayings. Thank you for spreading the Timness to those who have the misfortune of not knowing this beautiful boy. The world is a better place because of him.
