Well...here I am!

Alright, alright! After much persuasion I have finally decided it is time to start a BLOG. I guess people don't like it if I am contently reading up on their lives and they don't have a clue what I am doing with mine! I work as a recruiter for USU so I spend the majority of my time with eighteen year olds so as you can imagine I ALWAYS have something funny going on in my life. Plus as a 25 year old who is single in Utah I always have something to share.

Like at my grandma's funeral/viewing any older couple that came through my grandpa made sure to introduce me to any that had any grandson's close to my age (19-35 range). And at the funeral I found out that the RS President, Lilias, has a son my age. Oh what luck! So after the funeral my grandpa found it appropriate to drag me, and my tear stained face, over to their house to return the trifle dish. So at least I have meeting the in-laws out of the way. I thought I was off the hook until he came up for my little sister's wedding and my grandpa once again was back in the matchmaking scene. He was trying to set me up on a date with Stewart again so he called him from my cell phone and left a message and at the last minute he decided that was going invite himself along for the experience. I would say that's my ideal blind date. Me, Stewart and my grandpa. I never thought I would say this, but Stewart, THANK YOU for not calling back!

My hopes for the BLOG are as follows: Those who are single can relate to the funny happening of life, and those who have checked out of the single scene can reminisce about "The Good Old Days..." So, please come and check in often!

Hi, thanks for telling me your blog address er... I had to find it off my sitemeter. I thought you were writing some stuff and then going to tell me what it was later. Were you playing some mind game with me where I was supposed to ask? Anyway, can't wait for the stories, this should be good...

Welcome to the Party! So glad you came! Can't wait to hear the adventures! I'm looking into another trip up there in the next couple of weeks. We'll have make sure you put in for a sick day or something. Otherwise I'm thinking we'll show up at the Recruiting office. I just sent a CD to Lisa I thought you guys would enjoy. Also, in case she's hogging it, I sent a A&W Freeze coupon. You're both going to wish you'd discovered that years ago as the only other true Feeze machine in Utah is in Blanding, UT (Ansen and I have checked it out). Okay, this is long. Looking forward to more for you, Kate.
